UNCG Announces Business Honor Society Inductees
 
GREENSBORO— In March, 63 students were inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society by the Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the nation's top business organization that recognizes outstanding students internationally at accredited business schools and programs.

Founded in 1913 as the first national honor society in business, BGS was a merger of three separate societies established to honor academic achievement in business at the University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois and the University of California. Its mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement and personal excellence in the study and practice of business.

The UNCG chapter was established in 1983 when 36 members were inducted.

International students included: Cornelius Gehrmann, Stephanie Kaspar and Joscha Kremers (all of Germany), and Veronica Bucur of Montreal, Canada.
