ADMINISTRATOR IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER
AT STUDENT AFFAIRS INSTITUTE

GREENSBORO -- Dr. Cherry M. Callahan, associate vice
chancellor for student affairs at The University of North Carolina at
Greensboro, was the opening keynote speaker at the Institute for
Crisis Management in Higher Education, held recently in Gainesville,
Fla.
Callahan's speech was titled "Crisis Y2K: Defining Campus
Trauma Today." The University of Florida was host of the institute,
which attracted a variety of student affairs professionals from 17
states and Washington, D.C.
A UNCG administrator since 1979, Callahan recently completed a
term as president of the National Association of Student Personnel
Administrators. She also is a member of the Southern Association for
College Student Affairs, the American College Personnel Association,
the American Counseling Association and the National Association for
Community Leadership.
Callahan received her doctorate from UNCG.
