UNCG ADMINISTRATOR TEACHES AT INSTITUTE

GREENSBORO -- Dr. James M. Lancaster, assistant vice chancellor for student affairs at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, recently taught at the D.D. Gehring Campus Judicial Affairs Institute, held at Roger Williams University in late June.

Lancaster taught in the area of ethics and professional integrity. The institute, which is held annually, is sponsored by the Association for Student Judicial Affairs. It drew over 100 participants from the United States and Canada.

Lancaster has been at UNCG since 1974 and in his current post since 1989. He is serving on the board of directors of the Association for Student Judicial Affairs. He has chaired the association’s research committee and has served on the editorial board of NASPA Journal, the professional publication of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Lancaster received his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from UNCG.
