Career Day Set for Sept. 26 at UNCG

GREENSBORO -- A Career Day for students and alumni of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro will be held from 12:30-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Representatives from business, industry, government, health, communications and non-profit organizations will be in the lower, two-court gymnasium area of the School of Health and Human Performance Building. Information is available by calling the Career Services Center (CSC), located in the Foust Building at UNCG, weekdays at 334-5454.

The event is open to all students and alumni of UNCG. Representatives will be available to talk with students and others attending about possible careers, internships and employment. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes to give to prospective employers and to dress professionally.

Some of the area and national businesses expected to participate in Career Day are as follows: Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, BB&T, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Furnitureland South, N.C. Disability Determination, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp., Burlington Industries, Randolph County Personnel, Navy Civilian Jobs, and Lowe’s Companies. Businesses and non-profit organizations interested in participating should call the Career Services Center.
