UNCG Sets New Enrollment Record
GREENSBORO - Its official. UNCG has another record enrollment for fall semester.
The 14,328 figure includes 11,106 undergraduate students (up 3.3 percent) and 3,222 graduate students (up 1.7 percent). Add in 544 distance learners and the number grows to 14,872. The freshman class is UNCGs second largest with 2,055 first-time freshmen.
Enrollment includes 9,618 women (67 percent) and 4,710 men (33 percent). Other highlights for 2003-04 include UNCGs largest undergraduate and graduate enrollments, and the highest residence hall occupancy. Also, UNCG continues to lead the UNC system with more than 20 percent in minority enrollment in this years freshman class.
