Golden Chain Honor Society Inducts Members at UNCG
GREENSBORO — The following students have been inducted into
Golden Chain, a campus honorary society at The University of North Carolina
at Greensboro.
The students who were inducted Nov. 10 are: Scot Aitcheson of Burlington, Nathan Arentoft of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., Erin Bain of Greensboro, Kimberly Beard of Raleigh, Cana Gyongyos of Cary, Lori Ann Kennedy of Asheboro, Stephanie Lindsey of Reidsville, Steve Mandurano of Oswego, N.Y., Sarah Norville of Birmingham, AL., Jaimie Parker of McLeansville, Kandi Byrd Sams of Lexington, and Alison Saulsbury of Manteo.
Golden Chain honor society recognizes UNCG students for outstanding
achievement and service to the university. Founded at UNCG in 1948, the
organization’s seven “links” are leadership, scholarship, service, Tolerance,
magnanimity, judgment and character. Candidates must be juniors or seniors
and a minimum grade point average of 3.25 is required. Nominations may
be submitted by students, faculty, Golden Chain alumni and honorary members.
