UNCG Choirs Continue Holiday Concert Tradition Dec.

GREENSBORO — The combined choirs of The University of North
Carolina at Greensboro will be joined by Market Street Brass for their
annual holiday concert Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3:30 p.m. in Aycock Auditorium.
UNCG’s Chamber Singers, University Chorale, Women’s Choir, Men’s Glee Club and Women’s Glee Club will join to form a choir of more than 200 voices. The singers will be accompanied by organist Loretta James and the UNCG faculty ensemble Market Street Brass.
Leading the choir will be conductors Dr. William P. Carroll, Welborn E. Young, Marc A. Foster and Heather Potter. The concert will feature contemporary and traditional carols, including sing-a-long selections.
Tickets for the annual concert are available weekdays from noon to 5 p.m. at the university box office, with locations in the Elliott University Center and the School of Music.
