Department of Art Juried Seniors Exhibition
Opens March 23 at the Weatherspoon

GREENSBORO, NCRecent works by 28 BFA candidates from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro will be on exhibit from March 23 through May 4 at the Weatherspoon Art Museum. An opening reception will be hosted by the Weatherspoon Guild Sunday, March 23 at 2 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited.

This important annual exhibition explores a broad range of artistic expression in the undergraduate senior class. The current installation is comprised of 36 objects including digital work, mixed media, painting, photography, works on paper, sculpture, and video. All submissions must have been executed during the students' senior year at UNCG. Ann Roth, Gallery Director of the Frankie G. Weems Gallery at Meredith College, served as guest juror.

Selection into the exhibition provides students with an opportunity to experience the professionalism of exhibiting artwork in a nationally-known and accredited art museum. The faculty in the art department, as well as curators and staff at the Weatherspoon Art Museum, strive to make this exhibition a positive and rewarding experience.
