In a letter of recommendation, one of her students wrote, "Dr. Kennedy-Malone's guidance, expertise, encouragement and compassion have been an inspiration to our entire graduate class. She serves as an excellent role model for her fellow educators as well as students. She encourages critical thinking, problem solving and the development of independence and autonomy. Her concern and caring attitude have nurtured a closeness and camaraderie among our graduating group."
