Phi Beta Kappa Has New Members at UNCG

GREENSBORO— New members have been inducted into the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at  The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Speaker at the ceremony was Dr. Russ McDonald, professor of English, whose topic was "The Real Shakespeare."

Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and most prestigious academic honorary society in the United States. It was established in 1776 at the College of William and Mary and there are less than 300 chapters nationally. UNCG is one of only six institutions in North Carolina to have a chapter. Others are UNC-Chapel Hill, N.C. State University, Wake Forest University, Davidson College and Duke University. This year's new members at UNCG are as follows:
