UNCG to Sponsor Fiction, Poetry Readings This Fall

GREENSBORO — Poets and fiction writers will present a series of free, public readings this fall, sponsored by the MFA Creative Writing Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Each reading will be followed by a reception and book signing, with the author’s books available for purchase. More information is available by calling the program at (336) 334-5459 in the UNCG Department of English. The schedule runs as follows:

• Oct. 10, 7 p.m., Michael Gills, fiction, Barnes & Noble, Friendly Shopping Center.
• Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m., Sven Birkerts, lecture, UNCG Alumni House, College Avenue.
