The concert will include work by graduate and undergraduate students: Laura Arrington, Erin Brown, Austin Dixon, Jenny George, Susan Haines, Krisja Hendricks, Alice Holland, Elizabeth Longphre, Lise Serrell, and Brooke Taylor. The collection is meant to entertain and provoke thoughtful consideration of many issues facing the world today.

Ticket prices are: $10 adults, $7 senior citizens and non-UNCG students and $5 UNCG students.  For more information, contact the university box office at 336-334-4849, weekdays from noon to 5 p.m.

The mission of Prime Movers is to bring graduate and undergraduate students together in activities that will build a unified community within the dance department. Prime Movers sponsors the annual ACDFA (American College Dance Festival Association) trip, which allows faculty and student choreography to be shown and judged on a regional and national level.

The annual Prime Movers Concert was created to allow students to show their own choreography. Each student has an opportunity to audition a piece of their own work, which is judged by a panel of dancers including two undergraduate students, two graduate students and one faculty member. The Prime Movers Concert provides students with choreographic and performance experience before entering the professional world of dance.
