Faculty Members Promoted at UNCG
GREENSBORO – Faculty members at The University of North Carolina
at Greensboro have been granted promotions, effective Aug. 1. Announced
by Chancellor Patricia A. Sullivan, promotions to full professor from the
rank of associate professor were given to:

Dr. Kwasi Amoako-Gyampah, Department of Information Systems and Operations
Management.

Dr. Leandra Bedini, Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism.

Dr. Craig Cashwell, Department of Counseling and Educational Development.

Dr. Derek Krueger, Department of Religious Studies.
-
Dr. Barbara Levin, Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Michael Parker and Lela Zacharias, Department of English.
-
Dr. Jonathan Tudge, Department of Human Development and Family Studies.
Other faculty members were promoted from assistant professor to associate
professor and granted permanent tenure. They are:

Dr. Mary Barret and Dr. John Fadial Jr., School of Music.

Dr. Carl Lashley and Dr. Leila Villaverde, Department of Educational Leadership
and Cultural Foundations.

Dr. Nancy Nelson, Department of Textile Products Design and Marketing.

Dr. Randy Schmitz, Department of Exercise and Sport Science

Dr. Denise Tucker, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Permanent tenure was granted to Dr. Dan Rosenbaum, an assistant professor
in the Department of Economics, and to professional librarians William
Finley and Gerald Holmes, both in Jackson Library.
