ELLEN REDMOND PROMOTED

GREENSBORO--Ellen B. Redmond has been promoted to manager of student marketing and communication in the Division of Enrollment Services at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

In her new role, Redmond will coordinate marketing efforts both to prospective and current students. Redmond previously was an assistant director of undergraduate admissions. She will report to Jim Black, associate provost for enrollment services.

She will develop and implement plans to work with students from their first expression of interest in the University until they graduate. She will be responsible for working with publications and web staff in all enrollment services offices to ensure consistency in all enrollment services materials. Redmond has worked at UNCG since 1979, and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UNCG.
