UNCG FACULTY RETIREMENTS FOR 2000-01 YEAR
 
GREENSBORO—Faculty members with over 250 years of service to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro are retiring this year.

A faculty retirement dinner was held on Tuesday, April 10, hosted by Chancellor Patricia A. Sullivan. Most of the faculty members are retiring at the end of this academic year or during the summer, while others retired during the year. The faculty members and their years of service are as follows:

Dr. Herbert T. Hendrickson, associate professor, Department of Biology, College of Arts and Sciences, 33 years;
Dr. John J. Hidore, professor, Department of Geography, College of Arts and Sciences, 19.5 years;
Dr. Martha B. Hudson, visiting assistant professor, Department of Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations, School of Education, four years;
Dr. Delight M. Irwin, associate professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, School of Education, 22.5 years;
Dr. Robert L. Kelly, associate professor, Department of English, College of Arts and Sciences, 33 years;
Frank P. Land, associate professor, Department of Business Administration, Bryan School of Business and Economics, 22 years;
Dr. Dianne J. Leonard, visiting assistant professor, School of Nursing, 22.67 years;
Dr. Andrew F. Long Jr., associate professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, 34 years;
Rebecca H. Taylor, assistant professor, School of Nursing, 31 years;
Dr. William P. Love, assistant professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, 31 years.
Dr. Kieth C. Wright, professor and chair, Department of Library and Information Studies, School of Education, 21 years.
