UNCG BOND PROJECTS CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE

 GREENSBORO -- As The University of North Carolina at Greensboro prepares its campus for the next century, students, faculty and staff can expect to see a lot of changes over the next seven to 10 years. Thanks to voter support last November of the $3.1 billion UNC bond referendum, UNCG will have 17 projects in various stages of completion.

The first project at UNCG will be the new science building; construction is expected to begin in mid March. The design phase for seven other projects will begin this year with construction about two years away. The UNCG Board of Trustees has already approved architects for two of the projects -- the northeast campus infrastructure improvements and an expanded chiller plant in the McIver Street Parking Deck.
