WUAG Sponsors Multi-Campus Fashion/Rock Show
GREENSBORO - On Saturday, Dec. 6, WUAG 103.1 will host its first ever fashion/rock show, "Style in Stereo."
The show will start at 8 p.m. in Cone Ballroom in the Elliott University Center, on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Approximately 25 male and female student models will walk the catwalk wearing outfits hand-crafted by fashion club members from UNCG, Bennett College and N.C. A&T State University. The models will be accompanied by the sounds of local bands Kudzu Wish, Murray Street Band and The Green People. Music will also be provided by DJ Jason Cooper from Choice Vinyl record store in downtown Greensboro.
The event is the creation of Aaron Austin, WUAG’s promotions and productions
director. WUAG is the student-run radio station at UNCG.
Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for non-students and are available at the university box office, week days from noon to 5 p.m. Call 334-4849.
