FACULTY MEMBERS HONORED FOR TEACHING EXCELLENCE
GREENSBORO--Faculty members at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro have received the 2001 Teaching Excellence Awards.
The Teaching Excellence Awards of $1,000 each are funded provided by UNC General Administration, which allocated money for the 16 campuses in the UNC system to reward excellence in teaching within their academic colleges and professional schools. This year’s winners are:
College of Arts and Sciences—Lela “Lee” A. Zacaharias, associate professor, Department of English and MFA Writing Program.
School of Music—Dr. Eleanor McCrickard, professor.
School of Education—Dr. Jane Myers, professor, Department of Counseling and Educational Development.
School of Human Environmental Sciences--Dr. Cheryl Lovelady, associate professor, Department of Nutrition and Foodservice Systems.
School of Nursing—Linda Wheeler, clinical assistant professor.
School of Health and Human Performance—Dr. Virginia Hinton, associate professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics—Dr. Paul Muchinsky, Joseph M. Bryan Professor, Department of Business Administration, senior faculty award, and Dr. Kevin M. Raedy, assistant professor, Department of Accounting, junior faculty award.
