Applied Neuromechanics

MS Program in Applied Neuromechanics

The MS Program in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Sports Medicine is primarily intended for certified athletic trainers and others who wish to gain an advanced knowledge base in the areas of athletic training, sports medicine, biomechanics, or motor control.

Both Thesis and Non-Thesis program options are available to allow students to choose between a more clinical versus research focus in their studies.

Opportunities for teaching, mentoring and clinical experience are also provided through Graduate Clinical Assistantships. In order to qualify for these assistantships, students must be board certified or certification eligible as an Athletic Trainer, and eligible for North Carolina State Licensure. Admission is competitive.
