Undergraduate Research Program

The objective of the ANRL Undergraduate Research Program is to expose undergraduate students to research in the field of Sports Medicine. Participation in the program is encouraged for students who are self motivated and have plans in pursue graduate level education. The program will assist undergraduate students in development of research ideas, research methodology, critical thinking skills, and understanding of laboratory assessment instruments. This includes exposure to state-of-the-art instrumentation for assessment and analysis of human neuromuscular performance. Students will assist in ongoing research which includes the assessment of neuromuscular and biomechanical function of the knee as a function of gender, hormones, lower extremity alignment, and fatigue.
