Research interests

Interests of the faculty span from applied functional aspects to subcellular research. The laboratory provides an environment of academic, applied and professional excellence. See also the Research page for the Department of Kinesiology.

The mission of the UNCG Exercise Physiology laboratory is to promote quality scientific inquiry that encompasses various aspects of performance, health and well being and that can enhance and promote quality of life.

Our program integrates research, application and professional practice and includes the study and exploration of the interaction between physical activity and disease across the lifespan.
