Katherine Jamieson graduated from Michigan State University in 1999. She is a kinesiologist and sport sociologist, with research interests in various issues related to sport, power and social stratification.

Dr. Jamieson’s most current research interests include Chicana feminist and postcolonial analyses of physical culture, cultural competence among physical activity professionals, and critical pedagogy in sport studies.
