FAQ

Using the fitness equipment

Where can I park?

  • Parking is free at the Baptist church parking lot on the corner of Walker and Aycock.
  • Parking is available in the Walker Avenue parking deck (hourly fee).
  • May also park in the lot directly across from Campus Rec in any of the metered spaces.
  • There is limited free parking along Kenilworth.
  • Free parking is also available if you travel west on Walker Ave for ~ 3 blocks, then turn onto side streets.

Are there scholarships available?
No, we are not able to provide scholarships.

Can I get University credit for this class?
No. This is a service program, not an academic class.

Will I have to pay for a physical exam before I start?
This should be decided by your physician. If you have had a physical exam within the last year, you may not have to have another one. Ask if you can drop off the medical release form PDF Document and pick it up after they complete & sign it.
