About This Guide

Hosted by the Department of Library and Information Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the Mortimore-Singh Guide to Publication in Library and Information Studies is designed for use by students, faculty and library practitioners interested in publishing unique research in library and information studies and relevant sub-fields.* This guide brings together descriptions and submission guidelines for some of the most prominent English-language library and information studies periodicals in print today. Currently, this guide covers over 115 journals, and is constantly expanding. Please feel free to contact the editors if you would like to see a journal added to the guide.

Journal profiles include brief descriptions of the scope and intent of the journal (quoted directly from the organization or publisher website), frequency of publication, publisher name, website URL, and the URL of the journal's submission guidelines. Information contained in this website is updated twice a year in December and July. Please submit all corrections to the editors.
