Department of Library and Information Studies

Registration and Advising

Upon acceptance into the MLIS program, each student is assigned a faculty advisor, with whom you should meet to discuss the courses you will take each session. Newly admitted students are notified of their assigned advisor in their letter of acceptance from the Department of Library and Information Studies. Information on how to contact the assigned advisor is available here.

A listing of courses available in the current session is available through the registrar or on the LIS site.

Admitted students can link directly to the registration page. You will need your UNCG user name, your Pipeline password and the pin for the current registration term (which you will receive from your advisor. You can find this by calling or e-mailing the LIS main office 336-334-3477 or cpfelts@uncg.edu
