Are you graduating this semester?
If you plan to graduate in December 2008, here are a few things that you need to know:
- The deadline to apply to graduate in December is Monday, September 1. For more information and to complete the application, go to http://www.uncg.edu/grs/current/graduation_application.html.
- If you have made changes to your Plan of Study since you began the program, you must see your advisor to make out a Final Plan of Study. This must be submitted to the Graduate School by September 12.
- The deadline for turning in your Capstone Project is November 15. In order to complete this project, you must be enrolled in LIS 698. For more information about the Capstone’s requirements, go to the LIS Forms page (http://www.uncg.edu/lis/test_site/programs_admissions/forms.html) and look at “Capstone Portfolio Clearance Form and Directions.” In addition, you should meet with your advisor or Capstone advisor soon to discuss your project.
