Tim Bucknall teaches a variety of classes relating to library technologies. Tim is the founder and convener of the Carolina Consortium, a group of 130 academic libraries that save 150 million dollars a year through bulk purchasing. He is also the inventor of Journal Finder, the first Open URL link resolver and knowledge base to go into production in the United States. Journal Finder is currently used at more than 40 schools in 7 states. Tim is on the NC LIVE Librarians Council and was recently named by Library Journal as a "mover and shaker" who is significantly influencing the future direction of librarianship.
