Public Librarian Certification
Students who complete the MLIS program at UNCG have the necessary requirements to apply for certification as a public librarian in the state of North Carolina. To apply, simply download and print the application, fill it out, and send it in with a copy of your transcript to the State Library. You can obtain a copy of your transcript from the University Registrar's Office.
