COA visits UNCG LIS
The ALA Committee on Accreditation (COA) will be visiting the UNCG LIS department from Sunday, February 17 to Tuesday, February 19. During their stay, they will meet with faculty, local employers, and others in an effort to assess the LIS program.
On Monday night, members of the committee will also sit in on two classes: Library and Administration with Dr. Anthony Chow, and Humanities Information Sources with Dr. Michelle Simmons.
On Tuesday morning, the committee would like to meet and talk with current LIS students. All students are encouraged to attend this forum, which will take place at 8:30am in the McDonald Center, located in Curry 231. Please come out and support the LIS Department at this event!
