LIS Career Night - April 21, 2008
The LIS Department is proud to announce that on Monday April 21st, we will be sponsoring a Career Night! Come early for snacks and refreshments!
Location: Graham 308.
Schedule of Events:
5:00-5:30 - Reception, snacks
5:30-6:00 - Donna Seckar from the UNCG Career Service Center will be giving resume, cover letter, and interview advice
6:00-6:30 - Round Table Discussion, moderated by Dr. Jim Carmichael, featuring such topics as:
- How I got to be where I am now
- What it is like working in my current position and general career path
- Advice for emerging library and information professionals
- Future predictions and trends in the field
6:30-7:00 Question and Answers
The featured speakers will be:
