Workshop on Cluster Randomized Trial Design and Analysis

It will be a 3-hour workshop to be offered by Dr Hrishikesh Chakraborty of RTI International, Research Triangle Park, USA (email: hchakraborty@rti.org) on October 12.

Workshop Description:

Issues on Cluster Randomized Trial Design and Analysis.
Cluster randomized trials have become the central research method to evaluate well-known health indicators and have become increasingly popular over the last two decades. This course will start by presenting the conceptual background, basic assumptions, and fundamental issues related to design, sample size calculation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of cluster randomized trials. Attention
will be given to the recent methodological development of theory and methods related to the design
and analysis of cluster randomized trials. The course will target students or professionals with a basic knowledge of research design and analysis who want to learn or refresh their knowledge of cluster
clinical trial design and analysis. The level of mathematical sophistication will be kept as low as possible, but attendees should have background in data analysis methods.
