The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro welcomes visitors and prospective students - undergraduates and graduates. We are housed in the Petty Science Building on the campus of UNCG, part of the University of North Carolina system, in the city of Greensboro.
The department also offers a Mathematics minor for underegraduate students, and a Statistics minor for graduate students.
The department operates a Math Help Center (Petty 147) and a Statistical Consulting Center (Petty 209)

SpartanTeX provides a web service that compiles LaTeX source code written in Google docs and returns the resulting PDF document. Together with the Google docs editor, SpartanTeX is a collaboration friendly LaTeX authoring environment.

SERMON is a small, friendly, and informal gathering of number theorists and combinatorialists. In 2009 SERMON will be held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Saturday April 18 and Sunday April 19, 2009. There will be a party on Saturday night. Talks are held on Saturday and Sunday.
Current Undergraduate students are invited to apply for the NSF supported Research Program in Mathematical Biology.
