Directions and Parking
The conference takes place in the classrooms in the Bryan Building. (also called the Business and Economics Building or the Bryan School or B&E). The student presentations will be held in auditorium Bryan 160. The plenary lecture will be held in Bryan 104.
The Bryan Building is located next to the Walker parking deck, which is a recommended parking space for non UNCG visitors.
Here is a link to a map of the campus that lights up locations when you click on the name of a building. Once you enter the Bryan building, make sure you are on the first floor - room numbers should start with 1. Do not be fooled by the fact that you entered through doors on what appears to be the lowest level, some of the many entrances to the building are leading naturally into the second floor of the building. Also, some of the entrances may be locked. We will try to put signs through out the building - the architect probably liked fractals as the building has a lot of degrees of self-similarity.
The Department Home page has posted directions to UNC Greensboro for all major highways.
Parking in surface lots on the weekends is free. Just look for an A, C, or E lot and take an unmarked space. A convenient surface parking is the parking lot just by the Bryan Building. It appears to be "below the Bryan building" on this map. To reach this lot, go on Spring Garden, take Stirling Street, the lot is the first on your left. The only problem with this parking is that on November 11 the UNCG is open to public and this parking space may be full.
A paid visitor parking is available in the Walker Avenue Parking Deck. To reach the deck, take Stirling Street (from Spring Garden) and the parking deck will be on your left at the corner of Stirling and Theta Streets. Parking is available 24 hours a day at the rate of $1 per hour with a $5 a day maximum. Organizers will have a limited amount of parking passes for Walker Deck. Just enter the deck normally; you will get the pass during the registration process and it will be good on ONE way out of the deck.
