PTI Airport is located 14 km/9 miles WNW of Greensboro. The PTI Airport has a contracted taxi/shuttle service. Currently taxi cabs are not allowed to line up outside the terminal. It is necessary to buy a taxi or shuttle ticket at a booth in the middle of the lower (baggage) level of the airport. A taxi ride to Downtown Greensboro currently costs $22; and a shuttle is $19; the shuttle runs hourly on the half hour. See the current prices and details .

Raleigh-Durham and rent a car. The distance is about 100 miles of

For those traveling by automobile, Interstates 85 and 40 run through Greensboro, as does US29. Amtrak (if still in existence in 2006) stops in Greensboro (GRO).
