Helen Barton Lecture Series in Mathematical Sciences
The Lecture Series in Mathematical Sciences at UNCG has been organized by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics since Spring 2012. The target audience is graduate students and upper level undergraduate students, as well as faculty members. This lecture series features a very distinguished mathematician/statistician who gives a series of three lectures over a period of one week on a topic in the mathematical sciences. A particular aim of the lecture series is to spark interest among students in the newer trends in the mathematical sciences and its applications.
The organizer of the lecture series is Maya Chhetri.
The schedule for the lecture series is also incorporated into the schedule of talks.
