Scholarships
The Department of Mathematical Sciences currently offers some departmental-student based scholarships. The individual scholarships have different requirements and restrictions. (See the University Financial Aid Office website http://fia.uncg.edu/scholarships/arts.htm#math for details.)
- Applicants must have a current FAFSA completed (Online, or see the Financial Aid Office) to apply.
- Applicants must file a departmental application. (form available from the Petty 116 department office or click on the link for a printable PDF version)
- The Departmental Scholarship Committee meets in April to select qualified scholarship recipients. Please have your application submitted by April 15th.
- There is no fixed amount for any award.
- An award may be made for either one semester or for one year.
