Interstate highways I-40 and I-85 make the UNCG School of Music easily accessible by auto. The School of Music is located at 100 McIver St. on the Southwest corner of McIver St. and W. Market St., Greensboro, NC 27402. Parking is available in the School of Music parking deck right next to the Music Building for $1.00/hour, $6.00 max. per day (no in and out). Street parking has a 2-hour limit during business hours.

Folks staying in the on-campus housing who need a ride from the airport or train station to campus should e-mail their itineraries to Elizabeth Keathley with the subject line “FTM10 On-campus itinerary.” We will pick you up in the school van. At the airport, wait outdoors in front of the baggage claim (downstairs). At the train station, wait outdoors in front of the main entrance. If you have a cell-phone number, it would be wise to include it in your e-mail.

On-campus housing

Single room: $22.50 per night
Double room*: $14.50 per night
*single bed in a double occupancy room
+ one-time linen fee of $5.50

To reserve on-campus housing, complete the appropriate section in the FTM10 registration form. If you select a single bed in a double room, we will assign you a roommate unless you specify a roommate.

The residence hall for FTM10 is Guilford Hall, about 600 ft. from the School of Music. Please check in for FTM10 at the School of Music first, and we will direct you there.
Dorms have free wifi in the common room and Ethernet in the rooms.
