Honors in Music at UNCG
The UNCG School of Music offers Honors in Music as a part of the Disciplinary Honors Program of the Lloyd International Honors College. In addition to providing enriched educational opportunities, Honors in Music signals to prospective graduate schools and employers that you are creative and accomplished. Honors courses are designed to be more engaging rather than more difficult; they are typically characterized by more collaboration, lively discussion, and intellectual discovery.

Successful projects in music have included theses, lecture-recitals, and performances with well-researched, scholarly program notes.
Music students may also take advantage of additional honors opportunities, including the General Education Honors Program, Honors Coffees, or the Undergraduate Honors Symposium.
