UNCG School of Music
Attention all High School Piano
Students and Piano Teachers!
Join the UNCG piano faculty on Saturday, February 16th for an exciting day of piano master classes and recitals. All students will perform at least one of their two submitted works in one of four concurrent master classes given by UNCG piano performance faculty members.
Based on the repertoire submitted, each of the master classes will highlight specific composers, style periods and/or performance practice issues. A schedule of repertoire to be covered in each class will be available at registration. The master classes will be given by UNCG piano performance studies faculty members:
|
Joseph DiPiazza |
John Salmon |
Paul Stewart |
Andrew Willis |
Selected students from the master classes will perform in an afternoon recital attended by all Piano Day participants. Registered teachers may attend any of the master classes, staying in the same one or visiting all four.
The deadline to register is February 1, 2008. Tuition is $20.00 per person and includes refreshments and lunch, and is payable at the on-site registration.
