Nutrition Faculty

Faculty service and professional accomplishments are numerous. Many faculty members hold office in local, regional, and national professional organizations; are members of editorial boards for scientific journals; and review research manuscripts for professional journals. Faculty members also participate in panel reviews and as ad hoc reviewers for federal and regional grant funding agencies such as NIH, USDA and the Greater Triad Chapter of the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.

Community involvement is a priority. Faculty serve on community boards such as the Get Healthy Guilford Coalition; Community Nutrition Advisory Committee; Mother Baby Foundation; Senior Resources of Guilford County; Multicultural Advisory Coalition; and Food Assistance, Inc. Two faculty members are former monthly columnists for the Greensboro News and Record.
