The Dietetic Internship provides an accredited post-baccalaureate, supervised practice program with a general emphasis. Placement sites are with hospitals, diet/fitness centers, long-term care facilities, and county health departments. This program is 10 months long and requires a separate application for the national computer matching used for selection by Dietetic Internship programs.
This website will provide you with information on our Dietetic Internship program and the tools to apply to the internship. We welcome inquiries from prospective internship students. Dr. Martha Taylor is the Internship Director and can be reached at martha_taylor@uncg.edu or 336/256-0326.

Following completion of the internship performance requirements, you are then eligible to sit for the registration exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association to become a Registered Dietitian. The UNCG Dietetic Internship is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association.
