Thanks for inviting me! It was indeed a honor to introduce Dr. Rita Pickler. One of the greatest pleasures for me was being able to spend time with her and other former students. It was also nice to mingle with former peers & colleagues.

I was unable to attend for family reasons that weekend. I was genuinely sorry as I wanted to attend the military nurse event to see my old classmates, before and after....particularly the Air Force nurses....Lt Col Mike Ryckeley (i.e.Santa Claus) is going to place an order [for pin charm] for me....
Mrs. Janice Butler Ryckeley

Thank you for all the hard work put into this re-union. It was more than worth the cost of rental car and airfare from Alaska.
I would have appreciated a familiarization with the professors who have moved on. The only faculty I remembered was Sandra Reed (Micqui). I can't remember all the faculty of my years there - 1968-1972. Would love to know where they are and what they did after UNCG. Thank you!

Too much squeezed in to such a small time. The Celebration was wonderful! I wish we would have had 2 days for all of the activities. This was a wonderful opportunity to network and see the best of our fellow UNCG alumni. Than you Lind and Janet for all of your hard work. This was unforgettable.
Mrs. Kimberly Torda Gordon

Only suggestion is maybe cutting the time of the plenary speakers. Didn't know if that was related to CEU's offered or not… Otherwise, this was wonderful and made me feel so good!

Janet & Linda, you out did yourselves. What a wonderful get together and rehashing of old memories. Everything was wonderful and I salute you for all of your efforts...The gala event was too late in the day for those traveling 2 - 4 hours. Lunch selection poor. Loved the fellowship & displays.

I enjoyed this entire event! I would have like to have a two-day session - to divide all of the above activities in to 2 days to be able to make it to every thing. I think it was great seeing old classmates, teachers & revisiting our classrooms. It brought back a lot of good memories. Would have like to see more participation from our class (of 2000) though.

Ms. Susan Cook Vaughn

Today was sooooo wonderful. Many thanks to everyone for all the hard work.....it showed……. I hope today was just the beginning of renewed friendships...I did not attend afternoon events because I was recovering from major back surgery. I was exhausted by lunchtime. Speakers were phenomenal. Having folks at parking lot, golf carts was great. The greatest thing was the overall welcome, friendliness of everyone. As we say, I felt the love!" Linda & Janet were fabulous. Let's do it again!
Mrs. Gilda Whitaker Friedman
BSN 1970
It was wonderful to be back! The Sim Man had us fooled! We loved the entire day. Thanks to all who worked so hard!
Mrs. Cathy Beazlie Miller
BSN 1983
I attended morning and afternoon sessions. You welcomed me even though I had not pre-registered. (The buddy-system is what got me there!) I'm so glad I attended. The speakers were wonderful. The displays & the "class notes" board were great. The apples and oranges would have been enjoyed more if they had been "cut". It was good to see old friends and new. I bought a T-shirt (Super-RN) from the students and wore it on nurses day at work. It was fun! Thank you for formally recognizing AAS nurses and alumni before that program. It was so nice that Alice [Boehret] could be there. So many of those nurses did go on to make wonderful contributions to nursing and to their communities. The lab is amazing. So glad I got to see it. Thank you.
