Welcome to the UNCG Graduate Nursing Program. We offer several concentrations leading to the MSN degree and a program option for the MSN/MBA in Health Management. Additionally, post baccalaureate and post master’s certificate options as well as a PhD program in Nursing are available for you. To get started with your application process, you may apply online.
For all Master's programs of study, you will need to provide evidence of undergraduate level health assessment and a statistics course that includes inferential statistics. The suggested course at UNCG for fulfilling health assessment is NUR371. Courses at UNCG that will fulfill the inferential statistics requirement include ECO250, STA271, SOC302, and PSY310. Additional statistics courses statewide that fulfill the requirement include, but are not limited to, STA311 - an online course at NC State, Math316 at Gardner Webb, Math 151 or Math 155 in the North Carolina Community Colleges, and MATH2326 at WSSU. Additionally, anesthesia nursing students need evidence of an undergraduate chemistry course. A recent inferential statistics course is highly recommended for doctoral applicants.
Please call or email us for additional information. We wish you much success in your advanced nursing practice career.
