BSN/MSN Outreach Programs Hickory, North Carolina

The School of Nursing, in collaboration with the Northwest Area Health Education Center (AHEC), offers opportunities for working nurses to further their education through the BSN and MSN Outreach Programs. The BSN program, begun in 1984, permits a registered nurse to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree on a part time basis. The MSN program, also offered on a part time basis, is open to BSN prepared nurses seeking advanced degrees. Classes are held at the NWAHEC Education Center adjacent to Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina. The Outreach Director is Dr. Margaret Dick, with administrative support from Linda Anderson.
