The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) insures that research involving
recombinant DNA and Biological Materials follow designated guidelines. The IBC
follows the guidelines established by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office
of Biotechnology Activities and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
