Radiation
Safety
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has established
the radiation safety committee (RSC) to ensure the safety
of faculty, staff, students, and members of the general
public from unnecessary exposures to ionizing radiation.
In addition the RSC is responsible for establishing, reviewing
and approving policies and procedures involving the procurement,
use, and storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
and radiation-producing devices.
