Ivan joined the Office of Technology Transfer in August 2007. He earned his B. A. degrees in International Relations and German. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Administration at UNCG. This degree will lead him toward a career where he will provide the analytical, management, and policy-making skills in a government setting that deals with international affairs.

Prior to OTT, Ivan worked in the import/export and international trade sector as well as operations management. He came to the U. S. after living in Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina and became a U. S. citizen in 2006.

As a licensing assistant at the Office of Technology Transfer, Ivan is responsible for providing evaluation of invention disclosures, patent searches and market evaluations, evaluating the commercial potential of technologies, preparing invention summaries for marketing purposes, identifying potential licensees, and working with Licensing Associate and Director in educating faculty and students about their rights and responsibilities regarding technology transfer.
