The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) supports undergraduate research on The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) campus in a variety of ways including: undergraduate research assistantships, an annual undergraduate research assistant poster show, and undergraduate research assistant travel awards. OUR is involved in state and national initiatives that promote undergraduate research.

Research means asking an original question and then , using the tools of an academic discipline, answering the question. Research can be, and is conducted in all academic disciplines. Research can be done in a variety of places such as: an art studio, the library, a field site and/or laboratory.
