Faculty Initiated Research Opportunities

DESCRIPTION:  Slip, Slidin’ Away: Monitoring Local Reptile and Amphibian Populations is a research project with two major foci.  Scientifically, our project is designed to identify and study the herptofauana on a 350-acre site in Orange County, North Carolina. Educationally, our project is designed to study K-12 students who come to study the reptiles and amphibians at Chestnut Ridge Camp and Retreat Center in the North Carolina Piedmont.
