Faculty Initiated Research Opportunities

DESCRIPTION:  I am interested in understanding the causes and consequences of the biological success of social insects, particularly honey bees. Social evolution has resulted in some unique biological features that my group is exploring at the genetic, cellular, individual, and societal level. We focus on life history, behavior, and the connections between the two.
